FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: unit includes a current lead to the treated surface, which is connected to a current source, an electrolyte reservoir, a pump, and an electrolyte collecting vessel. The device comprises an anode system made from electrically non-dissolved material in the form of a coaxially located self-aligned electrode, which is connected in a stationary manner to the upper current lead distributed in a circumferential direction of the electrode above the level of electrolyte and a fragment connected to a negative pole of the current source. An open electrolyser is provided with an annular chlorine exhaust and a jacket with a heat carrier. A supporting plate with holes for installation of a support for a basket for a deactivated fragment and the electrode is installed in the lower part. Bottom of the apparatus is of a conical type and provided with two slide gates for unloading of fine slurry.
EFFECT: reduction of metal losses; increase of electrolyte service life.
