Abstract RU 2562838 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: substrate to grow plants includes at least 10 vol % of swollen pearlite with apparent density of 30-200 kg/m3 and size of swollen pearlite granules 0.01-7 mm, placed into package from elastic material, the outer side of which is light, and the inner one - dark. At the same time the quantity of swollen pearlite in the package makes at least 10% of its volume.

EFFECT: substrate makes it possible to reduce time to start fruiting and to increase crop capacity using hydroponics technology of growing, to improve development of plant root system, to accelerate fruit ripening, to reduce harm to environment during material recycling, to make it possible to monitor moisture consumption and plant growing process, to increase time of mat operation, to ensure integrity of roots, placed into the proposed substrate.
