FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to farm industry branch, in particular, to a feed additive for young beef breed cattle. The feed additive contains inulin prebiotic and probiotic microorganisms adsorbed on a carrier. The probiotic microorganisms are represented by Lactobacillus acidofilus and Streptococcus faecium; the carrier is represented by wheat bran extruded in a hot mode. The feed additive daily dose is equal to 2.63 g/kg of the ration dry substance and contains 54% of inulin and 46% of extruded wheat bran with probiotic microorganisms adsorbed thereon. The carrier may be represented by wheat bran moistened with carbamide solution in water, the ratio of carbamide to water being 1:1, and extruded in a hot mode, humidity being 19-22%, at a temperature of 120-140°C under a pressure of 12-20 MPa, the content of wheat bran is 90% while that of carbamide is 10%.
EFFECT: feed additive feeding ensures crude protein digestibility coefficient increase, growth intensity enhancement and young beef breed cattle productiveness increase.
