SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve device for use in the feed devices for polymer mixture granules dosing to the extrusion equipment ensuring insulation of the high voltage cables. Technical result is the valve device for use in the feed device supplying the initial material to the equipment of the initial material processing for HV cable manufacturing. At that the valve device is suitable to receive the initial material in form of granules to form the cable insulator, and is made with possibility of activation for selective opening and closing of the initial material flow. At that the valve device includes the valve body, containing the first valve element having cone shape and comprising hole between the top of the first valve element and appropriate part of base of the fist valve element, and second valve element comprising the covering element. At that one of the first and second valve elements is made with possibility of rotation relatively to the another valve element between the first work position, where the covering element does not cover the hole, permitting the initial material flow through the valve device, and second work position, where the covering element covers the hole preventing the initial material flow through the valve device.

EFFECT: contamination exclusion of the initial material intended for extrusion.
