SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in paper production. Calcium carbonate is obtained in target suspension in the moulding process of the fibrous web in a machine for manufacturing a fibrous web in a reactor forming a part of the flow pipeline, conveying the target suspension. The target suspension comprises a suspension of cellulose of raw material, a suspension of secondary cellulose, the filler fraction, and the solid-comprising filtrate. The reactor is equipped with a device to prevent the precipitation of PCC in the reactor. The reactor is made of a material on which the PCC is not able to be secured, or the reactor is covered with such material. The said device for prevention is located in connection with the reactor substantially along the length at which carbon dioxide and lime milk react.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain calcium carbonate in flow process without carbonate deposits on the surface of the flow pipeline.
