FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of motors, particularly, to ICE fuel systems. Claimed electromechanical nozzle with fluid unloading of shutoff needle from fuel pressure with the help of unloading plunger allows efficient operation of electric drive at high fuel pressure in accumulator. Unloading plunger in direction of needle rise is enclosed in closed chamber. This allows the increase in needle shutoff force at its rise to compensate for increase if hydraulic needle rise force caused by increased injection pressure at needle shutoff cone. Advantage of new nozzle consists in accelerated needle fitting in place at the end of feed and higher mean injection pressure. Besides, monotone loading characteristic of the feed expands the range of possible cyclic feed from the side of minimum feed. Application of under-needle and above-needle chambers expands the range of nozzle operating parameters required for its stable operation. Invention discloses ratios for unloading plunger diameter, plunger closed chamber volume, jet cross-section required for nozzle efficiency and serviceability.
