FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coupling components and auxiliary devices for coupling. Method to control operating condition of at least one coupling device consists in coupling condition signal evaluation by means of control device (100). Conclusion is made about undesirable decoupling of rolling stock unit if coupling condition signal indicates uncoupled condition and decoupling enabling signal (EF) does not indicate desirable decoupling process. Control device (100) is made capable to draw conclusion about undesirable decoupling of rolling stock unit if coupling condition signal indicates uncoupled condition and decoupling enabling signal (EF) does not indicate desirable decoupling process.
EFFECT: higher reliability of coupling device operating condition control in all modes of train operation.
