FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to railway transport and may be used for determination of car parameters in optimisation of train operation. Proposed method comprises defining car parameters to develop train motion plan proceeding from defined car parameters to comply with train operation criterion. Additionally, combination of cars is created with order of cars arrangement defined by car parameter. Proposed system for optimisation of train operation during the run comprises system to measure car parameter, central controller, communication circuit between measurement system and central controller. Car parameter is measured and sent to central controller. Besides, there is an identification marker and its readout. Data related with identification marker is used to define car characteristics. Said data is fed to motion optimiser for defining the run plan.
EFFECT: improved parameters of locomotive.
