SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and is intended for the prevention or treatment of diarrhoea in mammals. A therapeutically effective quantity of microbial exopolysaccharide, namely, gellan gum, is introduced to a mammal, predisposed or suffering from diarrhoea. The composition can additionally contain an agent, which improves the state of the gastrointestinal tract.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase the efficiency of treatment and prevention of diarrhoea in mammals.
