SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. A method of controlling fiscal memory for a fiscal printer having fiscal memory which stores fiscal information, a first control unit which controls at least communication with a host computer and operates at a first processing speed, and a second control unit which controls operation of at least the fiscal memory and operates at a second processing speed which is slower than the first processing speed, wherein fiscal information is stored in fiscal memory through the first control unit which receives fiscal information from the host computer and transmits the fiscal information to the second control unit, and the second control unit which performs a write process, which writes fiscal information transmitted from the first control unit into the fiscal memory; and wherein the first control unit performs a read process, which reads fiscal information stored in the fiscal memory from the fiscal memory without processing by the second control unit.

EFFECT: providing high-speed reading of fiscal information from memory while abiding by financial regulations.
