SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bandwidth expansion means. Audio signal coder comprises signal analyser, root coder and computer of parameters. Audio signal comprises LF signal covering central frequency band and HF signal treble band. Signal analyser is intended for audio signal analysis with audio count unit of definite length in time. Besides, signal analyser selects analysis window from the set of windows to be used in expansion of bandwidth on the side of bandwidth expansion decoder. Rood coder for encoding of LF signal outputs coded signal of frequency-coded signal. Computer of parameters calculates bandwidth expansion parameters on the basis of HF signal.

EFFECT: better properties of output audio signal acoustic performances.
