Device for producing broadband expanded audio signal from an input signal, consisting of patch generator for production of one or more signals patch from input signal, where patch generator is intended for expansion of time scale (1800, 1808) band-pass signals coming from analysis filter bank, and where patch generator comprises phase control unit (1806) for adjustment of phase of subband signals, using correction phase depending on filter bank channel.

EFFECT: obtaining broadband expanded audio signal from input signal.
