FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A rigid rod endoscope contains an external tubular envelope, an internal immobile optic tube and at least one sliding mobile tube, located between them. The distal end contains a light-permeable distal window and an output hole for light near it. An optic deflecting prism faces the distal window. The proximal end contains an optic device for observation or a camera head adaptor. Two external hollow tubes form a tubular envelope with a window in the distal end. The optic tube contains a mobile deflecting prism in the distal window and an optic system inside the optic tube for the transmission of light rays. At least one sliding tube slides on the longitudinal axis of the endoscope. The device, by means of which an incidence of scattered light on the sides of the deflecting prism facing the distal window can be prevented, is located on the distal window. The sliding tube is connected to the deflecting prism in such a way that sliding of the said tube relative to the optic tube results in the rotation of the prism around the shaft. Sterilisation with vapour is possible.
EFFECT: improvement of the construction.
