FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises a 25 g needle, which accommodates a 41 g cannula; the cannula is curved at 90° at the needle output, whereas its end is pointed at 60° to the outside; the system also comprises a coupling piece that connects the needle with the curved cannula and a disposable insulin syringe, and a dosing mechanism, which comprises a body, wherein a threaded insert having a screw thread at a pitch of 0.7 mm is screwed for translating a dosing screw having a hand wheel; against the face of the hand wheel, a retainer screw is screwed in the body to fix the disposable insulin syringe; the body integrates a coil spring to withdraw liquid into the syringe and to eliminate an air gap between a syringe plunger and a guide screw; the threaded insert and hand wheel are scaled to read the turning number of the hand wheel.
EFFECT: local controlled introduction of an exact dosed amount of a stem cell suspension through pars plana into the subretinal space, accompanied by minimum retinal injuries.
