FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, injection of liquid concentrated medication requiring precise dosage by diabetics for independent performing of daily insulin injection procedures. SUBSTANCE: injector has dosage mechanism with rack mechanism having triple magnifying viewing lens provided with dosage scale, with dosage being indicated in standard units (from 0 to 16). Injector is further provided with cannula having retaining nut allowing needles with conical as well as threaded seats to be used. Injector of such construction allows different types of needles, such as disposable and nondisposable, home and foreign, to be used for injection of insulin. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved dosage precision, increased convenience and wider range of needles used for injection. 3 cl, 1 dwg
