The proppant obtained by the above mentioned method in the form of 0.15-2.5 mm granules, has the following chemical composition, wt %: aluminium oxide 54.00-74.00, silicon dioxide 15.00-25.00, iron oxide 4.00-11.60, titanium oxide 3.00-4.40, calcium oxide 0.60-3.00, chromium oxide 0.35-0.80, potassium oxide 0.20-0.40, sodium oxide 0.35-0.60, magnesium oxide 0.20-0.40, zirconium oxide 0.10-0.30, vanadium oxide 0.0-0.20, sulfur oxide 0.00-0.30 and the phase composition, %: mullite - 30-55, asteria - 15-35, pseudobrookite - 1.0-4.0, hematite - 0-5.0, tialite - 0-2.0, anorthite - 0-2.0, glass phase 20-30.
