SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the furniture structural element and is aimed at simplifying the structure. The furniture structural element comprises a main part made in the form of a bearing item and a front element located on the main part, at that the main part at least on one end side has a profile element which at least partially protrudes beyond the main part surface facing the front element, at that the edge zone of the front element is at least partially located on the profile element, and the profile element has a structural layer and at least one functional layer, which at least partly comprise a thermoplastic material. The structural layer of the profile element has at least one main element, and also one closing element, and the closing element of the structural layer of the profile element, located at the edge zone of the front element, and also the functional layer are at least partially made of transparent and/or translucent material.
