FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: reaction of equimolar amounts of bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)ester of oligoethylene glycol, dichloro-substituted oligoethylene glycol and sodium hydroxide is carried out in the presence of a catalyst - silicon oxide or a metal oxide (amphoteric or basic), preferably nano-sized, while stirring in dimethylformamide at 100-110°C, which can be used as selective extractants of metal cations, including radioactive metals.
EFFECT: high chemical selectivity of the reaction, which is expressed in the high output of desired compounds, short duration of the reaction and considerably easy implementation of the process.
