FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adsorption equipment to be used in gas (vapour)-adsorbent system. Adsorption process consists in feeding the gas flow to be purified to cleaner bottom part via distribution screen. Said gas flow is forced via internal and external perforated cylinders with adsorbent arranged there between. Purifies gas flow is discharged from adsorber via union. Adsorbent is loaded via loading hatch arranged in the cover. Used adsorbent is removed via unloading hatch. Note here that desorption is executed by feed of steam via union to bubbler with perforated toroidal surface for more uniform desorption process over the entire height of said perforated cylinders. Note here that adsorption and desorption processes proceed at the following optimum ration of hardware elements: bubbler toroidal perforation factor makes K = 0.5÷9; body cylindrical section height-to-diameter ratio is H/D = 2.0÷2.5; body cylindrical section height-to-its wall depth is H/S = 580÷875. Note here that said adsorbent is composed of at least three coaxial hemispherical surfaces interconnected with clearance by fastener via axially symmetric spacers composed of cylindrical helical springs.
EFFECT: better cleaning of target component owing to increased area of contact between adsorbent and target component.
