FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: design of plate evaporator with falling film contains casing with inlet (11) for liquid to be evaporated, and installed in it package of vertically arranged heat transfer plates (4) with spacing, each second spacing created area (28) of evaporation, and other plate spacings create areas (30) of condensation of heat-generating steam, and additionally contains first seals (13, 14), that in top part of said plate spacings creating areas (28) of evaporation, limit the distributing chambers (27), each of them is connected by liquid flow with at least one area (28) of evaporation by means of flow paths (17, 18) separated through the package width. Heat transfer plates (4) have in top part through holes (16), in them pipe is inserted connected with inlet (11) and going along length of the full plates package, at that the pipe has peripheral wall with holes distributed along length of the pipe and connected by flow with distributing chambers (27), to supply liquid to be evaporated from inlet (11) to the distributing chambers vi the said holes.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
