SUBSTANCE: invention relates to studded winter tire. The number of studs in tire exceeds that specified by amendment of June 1st 2009 to the Order No. 408/2003 of the Finland Ministry of Transport and Communication on automotive tire studs. Stud shape and winter tire rubber resilience develops puncture force smaller than 120 N per a stud. Tire stud head features wear resistance and features cross section area of 1.80-3.14 mm2.
EFFECT: better grip on glaze.
