FIELD: armaments and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: muzzle device contains a casing for installation on the muzzle part of the barrel. Internal cavity of the casing is made as surface obtained by rotation of the oval generatrix, the oval is created by segments of the circles at end faces and by straight areas connecting the segments of circles in its middle part, around the axis in plane of this oval.
EFFECT: reduction of weapon recoil and increased barrel purging.
