FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: multichannel power supply system contains N identical channels for alternating current generation, each of them consisting of in-series motor, m-phase generator, main feeders, rectifier, inverter and power filter. Output current circuits in rectifiers of all channels are interconnected by 2-wire reserve feeders, at that power of generator and rectifier in each channel is rated to k-multiple excess of rated power for the channel load, and power of inverter and power filter for each channel is rated to rated power of the channel load, at that k is the coefficient defined as k=N/(N-L), where N is number of generating channels, L is number of faulty channels. According to the second versions in multichannel power supply system rectifiers consist of k identical rectifying sections coupled in parallel at output, and their inputs are connected respectively to outputs of channel generators by m-phase feeders of alternating-current. Power of each rectifying section, inverter and power filter for each channel is rated to nominal power of the channel load.
