FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to control the stand-alone inverters with pulse width modulation (PWM), and can be used for frequency regulation of the induction motor speed. The suggested method can be used to control the half-bridge, and bridge inverters with different number of phases, and the inverters controlled by means of the unipolar modulating and reference signals. Besides, the suggested control method can be used to control three-phase stand-alone inverters with included in the sine modulating signal of the zero sequence components. The method of control of the stand-alone inverters is suggested, it is based on comparison of HF reference voltage of triangular or sawtooth shape and LF modulating voltage, in which at amplitude of the modulating voltage exceeding the amplitude of the reference voltage in the modulating voltage the additional signal of rectangular bipolar shape is added with same frequency and phase with amplitude proportional to difference of amplitudes of the modulating and reference voltages. The initial modulating voltage is respectively weakened such that amplitude of the summary modulating voltage will be equal to amplitude of the reference voltage.
EFFECT: widening of linear range of amplitude regulation of 1st harmonic of output voltage of the stand-alone inverter up to maximum possible value.
