FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in the control method of the independent voltage inverter with pulse-width modulation (PWM) the frequency of the delta reference signal is varied in a predetermined frequency range so that the duration of each subsequent PWM period is different from the previous period. As a result, the high-frequency spectrum of the output voltage of the frequency converter is smeared, i. e. the amplitudes of individual high-frequency harmonics decrease. The similar effect is observed in the currents consumed by the induction motor and in its electromagnetic moment. Due to the decrease in the amplitudes of the current harmonics and the motor electromagnetic moment, the noise and vibrations of the drive are decreased, the dimensions of the output filter of the converter are reduced, if available.

EFFECT: improvement of vibronoise and mass-dimensional parameters of the AC drive while simultaneously increasing its electromagnetic and electromechanical compatibility.
