FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: vascularised muscle flap is formed of abdominal rectus muscle. A duodenal mucosa is separated from a serous-muscular one. It is displaced inside the intestine. A cuff is formed of a serous-muscular layer. The muscle flap is brought to a suture line of the closed mucosa. It is fixed to the cuff with interrupted sutures.
EFFECT: method enables closing the fistula accompanying the dehiscence of a duodenal stump with using two lines of homogenous tissues: from the inside by means of the mobilised mucosa and from the outside by means of the formed serous-muscular cuff and the displaced flap of the abdominal rectus muscles; it provides the more reliable closure of an intestinal lumen by the two-line tension-free suture.
