FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine control system defines the fuel and exhaust gas masses complying with the selected engine current power. With piston displacing from BDC at gas release from the cylinder nearby TDC claimed system closes the release valve. This makes the portion gases stay in the cylinder and be mixed with air or fuel mix at the next suction cycle. Charging of the valve air-operated pneumatic drive pneumatic accumulator system is performed by the energy of combustion products or fuel mix in the engine cylinder displacing the gas compressor piston of the valve drive system. Note here that gas is pumped from compensating pneumatic accumulator to valve drive system pneumatic accumulator.
EFFECT: lower shock loads in the valve.
