FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the steps that follow. Coal seam section is delineated by developing opening and its working by mining face. Methane-bearing capacity of the section is defined from close coal seams in relieving zones. Well is developed to close wells. Intensity of methane release from the well is measured. Remoteness of the zones of initial and maximum methane release from close seams from mining face line and well location parameters are defined. Note here that the distances of active relieving of coal-bearing depths of seam roof and floor and methane-bearing capacity of the section set depending upon the preset speed of mining face advance rate. Results of aforesaid measurements are used to define gas-dynamic indication of the intensity of methane release from close seams into wells of appropriate coal-bearing strata. Note here that location parameters of wells and distance there between are defined by methane release intensity, magnitude of gas-dynamic indication and parting to the highest methane-bearing capacity of close seam in underworked and/or overworked coal-bearing strata to provided for preset flow rate of drawing-out methane by adjusting the number of operated wells and rarefaction at their collar.
EFFECT: setting of wells location parameters and their operating conditions.
