FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: oil-free spiral machine contains the mobile spiral element with two involute spirals protruding from opposite sides from the base perpendicular to it, forming involute boring from each side and implemented with a possibility of orbital motion, and a pair of fixed spiral elements each of which has a spiral protruding from the base and conjugate with the respective spiral of the sliding spiral element. Involute borings of the mobile element assembled with spirals of fixed elements form working chambers. The outline of the section of end section of the spiral of the motionless spiral element is formed by a set of two arcs of circle connecting external and internal involutes. The convex arc, a tangential to the external involute, and the concave arch, tangential to the convex arc and the internal involute are implemented using certain relations.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the compression period that minimises reduce flow-over and increases the compression ratio, decreases residual pressure at keeping the machine reliability.
