FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: spiral machine contains a cylindrical casing with installed in it two helical elements, each element contains end plate and evolvent spiral. One of the helical elements is rigidly secured in the casing, the other one is installed in the fixed helical element with the possibility to perform the orbital movement with eccentricity relatively to the fixed helical element. At similar height and thickness number of spiral turns of the movable helical element exceeds number of spiral turns of the fixed helical element. Centre of the end plate of the movable helical element is shifted from centre of the spiral. The casing centre is shifted relatively to centre of the fixed spiral such that during superimposition of spiral centres it coincides with centre of end plate of the movable helical element.
EFFECT: invention improves specific characteristics of the spiral machine due to decreasing of the casing internal diameter upon keeping the productivity and compression ratio.
