SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. An illumination device (100) comprises a light source (110) configured to generate light, a bearing element (120) configured to support the light source, and a bulb (130) surrounding the light source and the bearing element. Said bulb (130) and bearing element (120) are made of ceramic material. The bearing element (120) is assembled in direct thermal contact with the bulb (130) along a contact surface such that the entire surface of the bulb is used to dissipate heat from the illumination device.
EFFECT: high efficiency of heat removal and simple design.
