FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of reducing toxicity of a spent lubricant composition retrieved from a spark-ignition engine, which is refuelled with a gasoline composition, which includes adding base oil obtained via a Fischer-Tropsch method to the lubricant composition. The present invention also relates to use of base oil, obtained via a Fischer-Tropsch method, to reduce toxicity of a spent lubricant composition retrieved from an internal combustion engine, refuelled with a gasoline composition.
EFFECT: reducing toxicity of spent lubricant materials for spark-ignition engines for safer further processing.
