FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses organosilicon nanogels with a modified surface of the structure(I) where a+b=1, wherein a and b are not equal to zero, n assumes a value of 10-1000; R' and R" denote CH3- or CH2=CH-. Also disclosed is a method of producing said nanogels.
EFFECT: in the disclosed nanogels, the internal sphere of the particles is of organosilicon nature and the surface is formed by organic groups at the terminal silicon atoms, which improves compatibility of the nanogels with polymer materials and provides efficient use of the nanogels as components of polymer nanocompositions.
