FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of nano-sized silica filler materials. The organo-inorganic molecular silica sols of general formula {SiO2[Si(CH3)2(CH2)a(OCH2CH2)bOR']n}m, where a equals 1 or 3; b equals 1, 2 or 3; n is a number ranging from 0.4 to 2; m is an integer ranging from 40 to 20000; R' denotes H or CH3, are obtained via hydrolytic polycondensation tetraethoxysilane in anhydrous acetic acid with addition of at least one acetoxysilane, selected from compounds of general formula CH3COOSi(CH3)2(CH2)a(OCH2CH2)bOR'.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain nano-sized silica derivatives with an organo-modified surface.
