FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing N-(1,5,3-dithiazocynan-3-yl)amides of general formula (1):

where R=p-C5H4N (a), (CH3)3CO (b), o-CH3OC6H4 (c) characterised by that hydrazides of general formula RC(O)NHNH2 react with 1,3-propanedithiol, which is premixed at 20°C with aqueous formaldehyde solution, in the presence of a copper chloride crystalline hydrate CuCl2·2H2O catalyst in molar ratio 1,3-propanedithiol: CH2O:RC(O)NHNH2: CuCl2·2H2O=10:20:10:(0.3-0.7) at 75-85°C and atmospheric pressure for 44-52 hours in a chloroform-ethanol mixture. The output of N-(1,5,3-dithiazocynan-3-yl)amides is 38-50%. Said compounds can be used as biologically active compounds, selective sorbents and extractants of noble and precious metals.
EFFECT: high output.
