FIELD: wood working industry.
SUBSTANCE: from bamboo trunk the short or long work piece (1) is cut off. The work piece is dried down to the humidity level 8-30%. Before drying or after drying the external layer of the work piece along its length is machined for formation of linear type of weakening of integrity of external layer. Machining is performed by means of longitudinal scratches (2) or machining marks, at least, on a fraction of external surface to the depth corresponding, at least, to a fraction of thickness of external layer of the work piece. The work piece length to be cut off from bamboo trunk is equal to, at least, one merithallus. The work piece in the zone of the unit (3) is fugued to the level of external surface of adjacent merithalli. The bamboo product is a work piece in the form of a fraction of bamboo trunk the external surface of which has longitudinal scratches or machining marks with the depth corresponding, at least, to a fraction of thickness of external layer of the work piece.
EFFECT: process of fabrication of the finished product with increased length with keeping its straightness and with avoidance of longitudinal curvature is simplified.
