FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, particularly, to wood covering. Wooden slab for covering is a slab made in form of longitudinally arranged and spaced apart beams in form of vertically oriented plates made from wood or wood-containing material, to top and bottom of which are secured elements made from board material, forming top and bottom structural planes and a cavity between them and every two adjoining plates. In frontal zones between every two plates there is an insert made from wood or wood-containing material, to lateral sides of which said plates are attached. Each plate is made of at least two layers of glued together planks.
EFFECT: technical result is higher strength.
