FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: scroll case of the axial HP compressor is made in form of volute with spiral diffuser channel, ring slit of air intake and output flange of air blow-off of the diffuser channel. Case additionally includes the output flange of air supply for engine needs, and output flange for air supply for aircraft needs. Two additional flanges are made expanding towards the output and are located against each other along the case circle. The axis of the output flange of the air supply for the engine needs and axis of the flange for air supply for aircraft needs are located at angle β1 = 25-50° relatively to the vertical axis. Axis of the output flange of the air blow-off is located at angle β2 = 5-10° relatively to the horizontal axis. Areas of the flow passages of flanges at output and their angular position along the case circle are determined by the calculation depending on flowrates and speed of air flow through the said flanges upon meeting of the definite conditions. The case is made out of two parts, in places of their securing reinforcements are installed.
EFFECT: increased gas dynamic and strength characteristics of the compressor, reduced weight and labour intensity for manufacturing.
