SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher, with a basket (1) for the dishes, which may be height-adjustable between at least two levels, and on which the supply tube (7) is fixed, conducting to the device (5) for spraying washing liquid, and this tube depending on the selected mounting level can be connected to the first or second outlet (29) of the supply pipeline (11), and on the first mounting level the supply tube (7) can be connected through the adapter (17) to the corresponding first outlet (29), while the second outlet (29) can be closed by a closure element (27) of the adapter (17), and in inclination (K) of the basket (1) for the dishes from the horizontal position to the position (I, II) of inclination between the adapter (17) and the fixed outlet (29) there is an angular displacement (β), whereby the adapter (17) can be moved from the initial position to the operating position, different from the initial one. According to the invention an actuator (31) is provided, which with the disconnected supply pipe (7) removes at least partially the adapter (17) to its initial position.
