LIQUID EXPANDER WITH DETECTION OF EYELID CLOSING Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61B3/113 A61F9/00

Abstract RU 2566527 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. A method of spraying liquid in the eye includes: placement of a device for liquid spraying, which contains a sensor and an automated sprayer proximally to the eye; levelling the eye with through an opening or a tubular cut, made in the device for liquid spraying with ensuring a possibility for the user to see through the opening, with the said levelling providing a possibility for the sensor to detect blinking, and for the automated sprayer providing a possibility of spraying liquid in the eye; radiation of a light beam in the eye; determination of light reflected from the eye to detect blinking; and liquid spraying using the automated sprayer for spraying liquid in the eye on the basis of blinking detection. The device for spraying liquid in the eye by means of the automated sprayer basing on blinking detection is described. The device for spraying liquid in the eye contains: a radiator, directing the light beam with a specified wavelength in the eye; a detector for the detection of blinking based on the light, reflected from the eye; the automated sprayer for spraying liquid in the eye on the basis of blinking detection; a processor, logically connected with the detector for spraying liquid in the eye on the basis of blinking detection, and the through opening or the tubular cut, made in the device with ensuring of a possibility for the user to see through the opening for levelling the device with the eye.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy of dosing and spraying liquid or aerosol in the eyes.
