FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. The optical system includes aggregate of point-light sources as well as aggregate of secondary optics - modular system of reflectors, at that point-light sources are divided into several groups, at that optical axes of light sources forming a separate group are parallel between each other while optical axes of different groups are not parallel. Each module consists of multitude of cells. In each cell there is one light-emitting diode; the cell comprises from four up to eight reflecting flat plates. The cells may be similar but they may also differ by number and shape of plates, plate tilt angle and optical axis of light source, geometry of light source in regard to plates. Similar and different cells may be placed both in the same reflecting module or different modules. The reflector cell and point-light source placed in it form together the secondary light source. Different light sources may have different characteristics of light distribution or different spatial orientation. Light distribution of the illuminator is obtained as composition of light distribution for all secondary light sources.
EFFECT: improvement of lighting quality.
