FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: claimed system comprises pressure control valve, intake and exhaust valves. At ICE intake stage, control system sets said pressure control valve and intake valve to open position while exhaust valve is set to closed position. At exhaust stage, gas pressure control and exhaust valve are set open position while intake valve is set to closed position. Control system traces the ICE pistons current position to define opening and closing moments for every valve in compliance with load at ICE. Slide valve of control system is set to position whereat gas is fed from drive system pneumatic accumulator into valve drive piston chamber. Used gas from the valve drive piston opposite chamber is fed into compensating accumulator. Then, it is fed into piston chamber of the compressor driven by combustion chamber air compressed therein, or by fuel mix, or by combustion products.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of gas exchange.
