FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: claimed system comprises pressure control valve, intake and exhaust valves. For intake into ICE chamber, the control system opens the gas pressure control valve and intake valve and closes the exhaust valve. To discharge used combustion products, said system opens the gas pressure control valve and exhaust valve and closes the intake valve. Control system traces the ICE pistons current position to define opening and closing moments and stay-in-open position time for every valve in compliance with load at ICE. For opening of every valve, said control system sets the airflow control slide valve to position whereat air from pneumatic accumulator into the valve drive piston chamber for valve to be actuated. Used air from the drive piston opposite chamber is ejected into atmosphere. Compressor piston driven by air or fuel mix compressed in combustion chamber at compression stage or combustion products at expansion stage forces air into pneumatic accumulator to charge it.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of gas exchange.
