FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: transient part of a combustion chamber includes a passage having an inlet connected to the combustion chamber and an outlet on the downstream end, which is connected to the first turbine stage. The downstream end includes external and internal walls, as well as the first and the second side walls. One of the side walls is a continued part of the side wall, which is continued downstream beyond the projection on the downstream end of the transient part. The continued part of the side wall includes a cooling passage or continued parts of the side walls of two transient parts are made so that they form a cooling passage after installation near each other. The cooling passage is closed to the external wall and/or the internal wall by means of an end plate. Other inventions of the group refer to a tubular combustion chamber and a gas-turbine engine containing the above transient part. Modernisation of the gas-turbine engine involves opening of its housing, removal of the existing transient part, installation of the above transient part and closing of the housing. At boroscopic inspection of the gas-turbine engine containing the above transient part, first, every second transient part is removed and then, there inspected is the hot gas path downstream of the remote transient part, as well as the hot gas path of the adjacent combustion chamber that remains installed in the gas-turbine engine through a gap opened by means of removal of the continued part of the side wall together with the remote transient part.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows increasing service life of a combustion chamber.
