FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: turbo code frame synchronisation method, wherein the length of a codeword is searched for among the powers of two N: Nmin=28=256, Nmax=214=16384 and fragments of a discrete sequence of length N are selected. As the attribute of the synchronous state of a receiver a nonzero greatest common denominator of the selected fragments (NOD1) with a length not less than the threshold of 17 is used. After detecting said attribute, the synchronous state is further checked for an attribute of validity of the synchronous state. As the attribute of validity of the synchronous state zero remainders of dividing the fragments by NOD2=(x1+1) are used. After establishing validity of the synchronous state, the validity of phasing is checked and synchronisation is carried out on a two-dimensional block turbo code. Depending on the found synchronisation parameters Nsynch, φsynch, parameters of the method are corrected and the synchronous state is searched for a three-dimensional block turbo code.

EFFECT: preventing false frame synchronisation.
