FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: unit contains the store, the device for loading of rolls with gripping element and the unwinder with gripping and rotation mechanisms. The unwinder is designed as two-position with a vertical hollow cylindrical column formed by three parts. The lower part of the column is fixed in the bearing base support, on the middle part with a possibility of rotation from the drive the unwinder platform is mounted which has with two mechanisms of gripping of rolls rotating from the drive in the form of collet drums with unbenders of the front end of rolls and press rollers. The upper part of the column is fitted with the housing installed on antifriction bearings with a possibility of rotation from the drive with console bearing guide and moving along the guide from the drive by the device for loading of rolls in the form of the wheel cart with the gripping element. The store is implemented in the form of three concentric axes of rotation of the unwinder platform and the vertical racks with the tubular horizontal consoles having open grooves. The common axis of collet drums and the axis of the bearing cart guide for the cart wheels are perpendicular to the axis of the vertical hollow cylindrical column.

EFFECT: increase of productivity, increase of volume of rolls and decrease of dimensions of the unit.
