SUBSTANCE: device incorporates toll accumulator, trolley with grippers and unwinder. The aforesaid trolley moves on along the rail guides attached to vertical props. The aforesaid grippers are arranged on the said trolley to move up and to approach. The aforesaid accumulator front is arranged between the vertical props and represents a step conveyor with load-bearing links made up of steel cast plates and with V-like prisms arranged with equal spacing intended for rolls handling. The said conveyor is furnished with the upper and lower bearing rollers and a side mounting stop. The upper bearing rollers are arranged over the entire plate width and with the spacing equal to that of the plates.

EFFECT: operation with large-size and large-weight metal rolls.
