FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stable microcapsule suspensions with high content of agriculturally active ingredients. A microcapsule suspension contains a lipophilic polymer, selected from a group consisting of polymeric acrylates, homopolymers and copolymers of polyvinyl acetate and styrene-butadiene latex, and a lipophilic agriculturally active ingredient. A polymeric microcapsule shell contains polyurea, where the polymeric shell encapsulates said lipophilic polymer and agriculturally active ingredient, wherein said microcapsules contain 25-45 wt % active substance per total weight of the microcapsule suspension. Substances and methods of obtaining microcapsules containing agriculturally active ingredients (AI) with high concentration and a lipophilic polymer encapsulated within a polymeric shell formed via an interfacial polycondensation reaction.
EFFECT: present invention enables to obtain stable microcapsule emulsions with high content of active substance; under certain conditions, these microcapsules may be formed using less lipophilic solvent than is required using conventional microencapsulation techniques.
