SUBSTANCE: manual chopper contains a handle wherein parallel or fan-shaped blades are fixed (with the cutting edge turned downwards) at the same level that is below that of the handle The blades are positioned at different distances from each other and/or have a zigzag or wavy shape, with a variable zigzag or wave period. The cutting board may be flat or may have parallel longitudinal grooves of triangular cross-section. The upper edges of the resultant combs have jags. The jags are slanted and unidirectional. The blades cutting edges are within the same imaginary spherical surface the prominence whereof is turned downwards.
EFFECT: increased performance and convenience of the tool usage.
