METHOD FOR OBTAINING SILANE-MODIFIED POLYURETHANE BINDING AGENT Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC C08G18/77 C08G65/336 C08G77/26 

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining silane-modified polyurethane binding agent (SPU-polymer), which contains terminal reactionable alkoxysilane groups, which can be applied as polymeric base in compositions of adhesives, sealants and coatings for different purpose, which are moisture-curable. Method consists in interaction of bifunctional polymer of formula (I) X-R-X, where R stands for residue of polyether chain, X stands for hydroxyl group, with organoalkoxysilane of formula (II) Y-R¹-Si(R²)_m(OR³)_3-m, where Y stands for isocyanate group in presence of vinylalkoxysilane of formula (III) CH₂=CH-Si(R⁴)_n(OR⁵)_3-n. In compounds (II) and (III) each of R¹, R², R³, R⁴, R⁵ has the same or different values and stands for hydrocarbon group, which contains from 1-12 carbon atoms, m, n = 0, 1 or 2.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain SPU-polymer with lower viscosity, stable in storing and processing, without formation of additional internal cross-linking, duration of synthesis is reduced and stability of synthesis process results is ensured, cost of obtained product is reduced.
